Woodbury CT Board of Selectmen Meeting

My name is Gregory G. Davis. I am Chairman of the Cable Advisory Council for Charter Communications.

I am here tonight to acknowledge and sincerely thank Mr. Carl Braun of Woodbury, for his dedicated years of service representing the town of Woodbury on the Cable Advisory Council.

Carl Braun is retiring from the Cable Advisory Council, and he is leaving a very large pair of shoes to fill.

The Cable Advisory Council is a volunteer organization which meets at 7pm in the evening, on the 2nd Tuesday, of every other month This bi-monthly Cable Advisory Council meeting has a prepared agenda, has minutes formally taken, and adjourns by 9pm at the latest.

The Cable Advisory Council is a legally created entity of the State of Connecticut.

The mission of the Cable Advisory Council is to carry forth the work set in CT law as an agent for the CT Public Utilities Regulatory Authority; to be an active partner supporting the programming and operations of the designated Community Access Provider – Community Vision Channel 21; and be the Advisory agent for Community Interests in communications with the cable TV company, Charter Communications, about policies, products, & services.

The town of Woodbury has two available seats on the Cable Advisory Council which may be filled by appointment of the First Selectman.

I am here to ask the Woodbury Board of Selectmen to take advantage of this opportunity.
